Member in Charge of Tax Services
Ted is senior member in charge of the Tax Services and has been in that position since 2002. He has 30 years’ experience serving clients of many different sizes and many different businesses and industries. His experience includes compliance, research and planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, non-profit entities and estates and trusts. Ted has significant experience in the area of estate planning and estate and trust administration. He also has extensive experience in the area of multi-state corporate taxation to include income taxation as well as franchise taxation. Over the years, he has been involved in multiple corporate merger and acquisition transactions, and has provided tax research and planning ideas to minimize the tax consequences, and at the same time, be in compliance with federal and state laws. Ted also has extensive experience in representing clients in examinations by the Internal Revenue Service and state tax commissions.
Ted is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants- Tax Division, a member and a past board member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils and a member of the Mississippi Association - Estate Planning Council.
Ted is very active in his community. He is a member of the Baptist HealthFoundation Estate Planning Council, a member and past president of the Clinton Rotary Club, a board member and officer of the Clinton Community Development Foundation and is on the Mississippi College School of Business Advisory Board.
