Assurance and Tax Member
Jimmy is responsible for auditing and accounting engagements including engagements involving governmental activities, non-profit organizations, real estate, nursing homes, automotive and equipment dealers, and information technology entities. He also devotes a significant amount of time and effort toward client income and estate/gift tax planning and compliance matters. He is accredited to perform business valuations by the AICPA as well as the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Additionally, Jimmy performs peer reviews for CPA firms across the country.
As a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), Jimmy has served as a past member of the Board of Governors, a past chairman of the Peer Review Committee, and a past member of the Audit and Accounting Committee of the MSCPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a serves as a member of both the Taxation Division and the Forensic and Valuation Services Section. He is also a board member and past president of the Estate Planning Council of Mississippi.
Jimmy's community involvement includes being a member and College LifeGroup Leader for Colonial Heights Baptist Church, Ridgeland, Mississippi; being a board member and serving on the finance committee for the Foundation to Eradicate Duchenne (Muscular Dystrophy); as well as being on the advisory committee for the Macedonia Call Foundation.
